DR HAGLER OKORIE VISITS UZUAKOLI SKILL ACQUISITION CENTER AND PROMISE TO INSTALL THE EQUIPMENTS.

The Transition Committee Chairman for Bende Local Government Area Dr Hagler Okorie yesterday paid an unscheduled visit to Uzuakoli skill acquisition center located at Amamba Uzuakoli community Bende Local Government Area Abia State.

Speaking at the palace of HRM Eze K.O Ikonte, Dr Okorie said the visit is in fulfilment of the plea by Miss Okorie Ijeoma Uche (Miss Uzuakoli for 2019/2020) that the skill acquisition Center attracted by Hon Nnenna Elendu Ukeje the former member that represented Bende Federal Constituency be put into use when she paid a courtesy visit to his office and promised to ensure that the dream of the young lady is actualized.

Responding, The Education secretary for Bende Local Government Education Authority Elder Ogbonnaya Okorie thanked the Chairman for the visit, he said the skill acquisition center when put into use will help provide jobs for their teaming youths, thereby reducing crime in the society and promised that the community will help secure the equipments when installed.

The Deputy Transition Committee Chairman Mr John Mark, The Head of Works Department for Bende Local Government Council Mrs Ugochi Ojeh and Traditional Rulers from Uzuakoli Community were present during the Visit.
