Stop Littering Drainages With Refuse, ASEPA Waste Manager Umuahia, Prince Okezie Ogbudu, Urges Afara Inhabitants

Worried by the level at which Abians dispose refuse inside drainages, the Waste Manager Abia State Environmental Protection Agency, ASEPA, Umuahia, Prince Ogbudu...,has warned that the full wrath of the law will soon decend on perpetrators.

Ogbudu...who was speaking with Quick Reporters correspondent during the emergency monthly sanitation exercise held on Saturday, said the activities of inhabitants of Afara Area of Stampole is regrettably, warning that the government has come up with ways to punish individuals who embark on this barbaric act.

He wondered why people will be blocking the drainages despite huge resource spent by the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu led administration on constructing the drainages along Modern Ceramics, advising people living around the area to make use of the ASEPA buckets provided by the Agency.

Prince...equally informed that the Agency's waste van ply roads in Umuahia, picking people's household waste, urging them to utilise the opportunity and desist from defacing the state capital with refuse.

He also commended the State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for the massive road construction he has embarked on the state, pointing out that he will continue to serve as a source of inspiration for him.
