PDP SHALL RISE AGAIN, ERONDU, NKOLE AND AMA ASSURED PARTY MEMBERS

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has been navigating a challenging period following its loss in the 2023 governorship election. Despite being the ruling party at the time, the PDP was unable to secure victory, leading to a significant setback for the party. In the aftermath of the election, several high-ranking members of the party defected to other parties, like the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).

However, in a commendable effort to revitalize the party, Hon. Chief Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. (Igodo Igwe), a House of Assembly member, embarked on a Local Government Area (LGA) to LGA tour. This initiative aims to unite, strengthen, and reclaim party members, while also injecting new life into the party's structures at the grassroots level.

The tour, which is already yielding positive results in the LGAs visited, demonstrates Igodo Igwe's commitment to the PDP's resurgence in Abia State. His efforts to re-energize the party base, promote unity among members, and rekindle enthusiasm for the party's ideals are truly commendable.

It is essential that other party leaders and stakeholders join forces with Hon. Erondu to ensure the success of this initiative. By working together, they can amplify the message of the tour, expand its reach, and create a momentum that will propel the PDP back to its former glory in Abia State.

In this regard, the meeting convened by the Zonal Vice Chairman, Abia North, Chief Gabriel Elendu, and hosted by Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole, is a step in the right direction. Similarly, the State Party Chairman's visits to various LGAs so far, demonstrate a willingness to engage with party members and rebuild the party's structures.

These efforts underscore the importance of collective action in reviving the PDP's fortunes in Abia State. By pooling their resources, expertise, and influence, party leaders can create a robust framework for the party's growth and success.

As the PDP continues on this path of renewal, it is crucial that party members remain committed to the cause, support the efforts of their leaders, and work towards a common goal. With persistence, dedication, and a united front, the PDP can regain its footing in Abia State and emerge stronger than ever.

In conclusion, Hon. Chief Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr.'s LGA to LGA tour is a laudable initiative that deserves the support and cooperation of all party stakeholders. By working together, the PDP can overcome its current challenges and build a brighter future for itself and the people of Abia State.

Together, we reclaim Abia State Government House come 2027.
