Congratulations to our brother, Mr. Friday Emetu.
‘School Boy' as he's popularly called has been Awarded Scholarship to Study @ Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike by the Deputy Speaker of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu.
Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu who represents the people of Ohafia South State Constituency had during his Christmas celebration with youths from Ohafia last year promised to help and assist them to be useful to themselves and the society by way of Scholarship and Empowerment.
This kind gesture is in addition to the Free WAEC & JAMB Registrations enjoyed by secondary school students in Ohafia, payment of school fees and acceptance fees, sharing of educational materials and other incentives which the Deputy Speaker had used to touch the lives of Ohafia Students/Youths.
The Deputy Speaker has also vowed to change the narratives in his second term at the state house of assembly by focusing on the youths to dispel the insinuation/believe that youths are only important during the electioneering period.
