ADVOCACY CORE GROUP VISITS THE OFFICE OF THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTHS AND SPORTS, ABIA STATE, HON. EMEKA IKWUAGWU

Advocacy Core Group ( ACG) took their advocacy on Family Planning and Reproductive Health as it concerns youth to the office of the Abia Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Chief Emeka George Ikwuagwu, on Monday.

The group led by Professor Ursula Akanwa solicited for   collaboration the Youth ministry to educate Abia Youths on safe sex to avoid unwanted pregnancies and abortion and embrace family planning.

ACG went on to decorate Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu Family Planning Championship in order for him to be in the forefront of Family Planning campaign.

The commissioner thanked the Family Planning advocacy group for finding him worthy to Champion the FP advocacy and promised to work in synergy with them to achieve a worthy objective.

He said the ministry of youth and sports development would support the group program and he went on to approve the appointment of d ministry's director of mobilization as the desk officer of ACG.
