IKPEAZU SHOWS COMMITMENTS IN THE PROMOTION OF MADE IN ABIA PRODUCTS THROUGH AKWETE CLOTHS, GEARED MASS CUSTOMIZATION AT ABIDJAN > QUICKREPORTS.

By Augustine Akomas.

After a very successful outing at the Africa Development Bank, AfDB, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, took out time as he presented the popular AKWETE CLOTH to the President of the Bank, Dr Akinwumi Adesina.

He took out time to explained the history and complexity of the AKWETE CLOTH - 100% hand made by the women of Akwete in Ukwa East LGA of the State, using locally assembled machines.

At this point, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu began to make case for mass production of Akwete Cloths through facility from AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK AFDB IN ABIDJAN.

The AfDB's mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region.

The basic frames in the material are the same, but automated cutting machinery precuts the color and type of material ordered by each customer. Using mass-production techniques, they are then added to each frame, for Quick delivery.

Gov Ikpeazu, has so far, shown his ingenuity and strong commitment towards rewriting the age long story of the 'Made In Abia Products.

As Gov Ikpeazu, continued to show his love for Abia products by constantly adorning the popular Akwete Cloth and with the support of AfDB, the women of Akwete will soon smile to the Bank with facilities that will enable the mass production of there hand made Akwete Cloths.
