The former Group Executive Director, Finance and Accounts of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Chief Okwara Osonwa Okwara, JP (ENYI ABIA) has commiserated with me over the demise of my father, late Chief Emmanuel Nkole, aged 79.
2.) The Elder Statesman, Chief Osonwa in his speech during his condolence visit yesterday May 20, 2020 in my Ozu Abam country home Arochukwu LGA, described the demise of his colleague, Chief Nkole whom he interacted very closely as a friend and also as a colleague in the Financial sector as "a huge loss to the Nation's economy."
3.) Enyi Abia described the deceased as a Financial expert that had served diligently and retired meritoriously as a Senior Management Staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, adding that he will be remembered for the indelible footprints he has left on the sands of time.
"Late Chief Nkole was a fine gentleman, philanthropist, community leader and peaceful man whose humility and love for God's work and humanity is worthy of emulation", he noted. He prayed God to comfort us and rest the soul of his friend in His bossom.
5.) I expressed deep gratitude to UGOMBA OHAFIA Chief Okwara for the honour of the visit which to me heralds a show of great display of affection towards me and the entire family .
"On behalf of the entire family of Nkole, I want to say many thanks to you, Enyi Abia for coming around to condole with me at this moment of grief. I wished ENYI ABIA
Travel mercy back to Ohafia.
