ABIA @ 29: ABIA DEPUTY SPEAKER FELICITATES WITH ABIANS.

The Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu has congratulated Abians on the occasion of the 29th Anniversary since the creation of the state.

In a release signed by the Deputy Speaker this morning, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu thanked God for preserving the lives of Abians and for the progress so far recorded in the State.

According to him, “God has always proven to us that our state (Abia) is His own state. He has not allowed any calamity to befall us but has helped us to survive despite several challenges".

Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu went on to congratulate the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Victor Okezie Ikpeazu whom he described as “A silent Achiever" and “A scholar in Government".

He thanked the Governor of Abia State for his numerous efforts in ensuring that Abia remains the safest state in the country and for all the infrastructures being put in place by the Governor for the comfort of Abians.

He used the occasion to appeal to Abians to continue to be law abiding and to support the efforts of the Government in moving the state forward.

The Deputy Speaker also reassured his constituents (Ohafia South) of his commitment in bringing dividends of democracy down to their door steps while seeking for their prayers for him and the Governor to enable them achieve more.
