NURTW UGWUNAGBO BRANCH NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS TAKE OATH OF OFFICE
The newly inaugurated executive members of National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Ugwunagbo branch have been charged to work harmoniously to promote unity and ensure peaceful coexistence amongst themselves. The charge was made by the State Chairman of the NURTW, Comr. Eugene Eze Job during their inauguration ceremony today in Aba. While addressing the newly sworn in executive members, Comr. Eugene Eze Job reminded them of the need to work together as a team to ensure that they achieve all they have promised the union as manifesto statements. He equally charged them to always respect the laws of the land and the Constitution which guides the union as they discharge their duties.
Also speaking during the inauguration, the Chief of Staff to the NURTW State Chairman, Comr. Ogaraku Anyanwu advised the newly inaugurated executive members to work in one accord to ensure that the Union's image is well represented in the outside world. He said that the State Chairman of the NURTW has done more than enough to unite all the motor unions in the State, so it is now expected of them as new executive members of Ugwunagbo branch to emulate the State Chairman.
The State Chairman of Cooperative, Chief Godspower Ikeoma, the State Chairman of NATO, Deacon Amobi Oheri and the State Chairman of RTEAN, Chief James Egwuonwu in their separate speeches commended Comr. Eugene Eze Job for being outstanding,dedicated and sincere in carrying all the Unions along. They advised the new executive members of the Ugwunagbo branch of the NURTW to emulate the outstanding characters of their State Chairman as that would help them a lot to achieve success.
In a thank you remark, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Comr. Eshiwe Ahuama expressed delight over his inauguration, reassuring the commitment of the executive members ably led by him to ensure unity, oneness and peaceful coexistence in the union. He reiterated his readiness to carry everybody along for effective service delivery.
