AGBAZUERE, CONFERRED, PAN - AFRICAN LEADERSHIP AWARD.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor,Dr A.C.B Agbazuere has been conferred with the PAN-AFRICAN DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP HONOR as ICON OF NATION BUILDING IN NIGERIA by the AFRICAN STUDENTS UNION PARLIAMENT (ASUP).

Speaking while presenting the leadership award to Dr Agbazuere in his office in Government House Umuahia,the Clerk/Chairman House Committee on Awards and Privileges of the African Students Union Parliament,Comrade Adjei Frimpong from the university of Ghana, Legon said the African distinguished leadership award is in  recognition of Dr Agbazuere's exemplary   ideal of living for the sake of others and dedication of himself  to practices which promotes African moral values,corporation,international harmony and  renew of the pan africanism ideology.

Comrade Frimpong further disclosed that part of their visit is to sensitize african youths on the dangers associated with drug abuse also identified  lack of proper mentorship as major causes of youth restiveness,drug abuse and other social vices.

Contributing,the Deputy  Clerk of ASUP,Comrade Ozim Temple from the Federal University of Technology,Minna Niger State while congratulating Dr A.C.B  Agbazuere on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Governor described the African Students Union Parliament as an umbrella body of students within the 54 African Union recognized countries with core objective of encouraging corporation and peaceful coexistence among member states' students for the purpose of students exchange program,objective analysis of issues affecting them,encouraging stakeholders and public office holders towards ensuring   peace,development and economic stability of the African continent.

Responding,the awardee and Chief of Staff to the Governor,Dr A.C.B Agbazuere described youths as an integral part of any society hence the need for them to shun illicit acts capable of jeopardizing their future.

Dr Agbazuere further  called on the students to remain focused, dedicated to their studies in other to achieve their dreams and aspirations in life as well as appreciated them for the honor done him.  that the visit which featured the decoration of Dr A.C.B Agbazuere with the ASUP Medal attracted the presence of the  Senior Special Assistant to the Governor,Elder Alison Obiajunwa among other Special Assistants to the Governor.
