GOV IKPEAZU HAS BEEN COMMENDED FOR CONSTRUCTING ROADS WITH THE MODERN RIGID PAVEMENT TECHNOLOGY > QUICKREPORTS.

The immediate past senator who represented Kogi Central District at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has commended the State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for his choice to construct Abia roads with the modern rigid pavement technology.

Senator Melaye who stated this when he visited the ongoing construction of Osusu and Eziukwu roads respectively, lauded the effort of the governor in building quality roads with standard drainage on both sides, saying that with the quality of work done on these roads when completed, will stand the test of time.

The former lawmaker extolled Governor Ikpeazu for his giant strides in Infrastructural development and urged the people of the state to continue to support the administration of Ikpeazu, describing him as a visionary leader.

Earlier, the state Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu who took the Kogi born politician around Osusu and Eziukwu roads, stated that these roads had been impassable for over 20 years noting the economic importance of those roads which his administration considered.

The Governor reassured his commitment in building durable roads with a vision of having a good road network while appreciating Senator Dino Melaye for coming to Abia, God's own state,

The governor was accompanied by the Chief of staff to the governor, Dr-acb Agbazuere, the state commissioner for works, Barr. Bob Chiedozie Ogu amongst other top government officials.
